FILSKA NEWS
In January Filska performed at The Celtic Connections Festival as part of the ‘Shetland Night’ at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall. The sell-out event saw Filska share the bill with world-renowned artistes’ Martin Taylor and Aly Bain.
During the festival, the band were invited to record a live set for the new digital gaelic channel. Watch this space for broadcast times!
Celtic Connections also saw the launch of Jenna’s new solo album, ‘Laughing Girl’. See Jenna’s website jennreid.co.uk for details.
The band are currently busy writing new music and arrangements for their next album.
